We make Wire Sculpture Pendants using both faceted stones that we buy and gemstones that we go "gem mining" for in North Carolina at Gem Mountain and Chimney Rock Gem Mine. Those stones we bring home and grind and polish on our six wheel gem grinder. We also use unusual beads to make pendants. The faceted stones are all done in either sterling silver wire or gold filled wire. The ones we grind and polish and beads are done in sterling silver, gold filled, silver plated or silver filled wire. We are using silver plated and silver filled for some of the polished stones because the price of silver wire has tripled in the past months, by using the cheaper wire those pendants can be sold at a better price for you. This is the Bauer Collection. We do also make earrings, bracelets and necklaces using gemstone and glass beads, no plastic beads are used.
Measurements are the size of the pendant. Pendants shown here are not shown at craft shows and pendants at craft shows are not on this site, only after shows are over for the year.

The cancer awareness pendants above started as earrings I made for the nurses at the UPMC Northwest cancer center while I was receiving treatment for breast cancer. They are Swarovski Crystal Beads with a "Hope" ribbon, with a silver plated chain. Now they are necklaces that are sold to support the ones I give to each breast cancer patient at UPMC Northwest Cancer Center, Seneca, PA, Guthrie Cancer Center,Corning, NY, Yolanda Barco Cancer Treatment Center, Meadville, PA and Seneca Medical Center, Seneca, PA as well as to the program that the Cochranton High School girls volleyball team puts on every year. This year each breast cancer survivor or patient redeived one of the drop necklaces at the "Dig for a Cure" volleyball game.
